As we learn more about the new Star Wars: Squadrons video game (here and here), we’re reminded of this recent music video put together by Jackson McKay, who artfully wove together scenes of X-wing starfighters from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker and set it to the tune of the adrenaline-inducing beats of Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” – best known for its use in 1986’s Top Gun!

It’s the perfect combination as we eagerly anticipate the upcoming game, as well as the eventual release of Top Gun sequel “Top Gun: Maverick” in December this year!
