Holy Record-Breaking Gadgets, Batman!
Meet Keith Dinsmore, from Portland, Maine (USA), who has been cosplaying as Batman since 2013. He learned there was a Guinness World Record for “most functional gadgets in a cosplay suit” and it was held by another Batman cosplayer Julian Checkley with a suit that included 23 functional devices. So, this passionate Batman fan decided to break the record with his own cosplay suit that had 30 distinctive, functional gadgets.
Keith built his Batman cosplay suit with gadgets he believed would be something Batman would authentically use, which included:
- Bolla
- Batarangs
- Butane torch
- Mini grappling hook
- Binoculars
- Bat signal
- Compass
- Fingerprint kit
- Tracking device
- Nylon rope
- Road flare
- Laser pointer
- Flashbangs
- Handcuffs
- Pen cutting torch/ Acetylene torch
- Extendable baton
