For #FanFilmFriday throughout May, we’ll feature Star Wars fan films only.

Earlier this week, we came across this Star Wars fan film from Malaysian-based filmmaker Brian Lee. In the film, three Stormtroopers on the battlefield catch sight of Darth Vader. One of the troopers sees this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to say hello the hero of Hoth and the defender of the Death Star.

A hilarious – made all the more funny because of the Manglish (Malaysian-English) accent – discussion on the pros and cons of this decision ensues.

The toopers were portrayed by members of the 501st Legion’s Malaysian Garrison; who really did a great job selling the story through their gestures and body language.
