This week’s fan film truly celebrates the power of geekdom! Way back in 2009, film director Casey Pugh reached out across the galaxy and asked the interwebz for help to remake Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope into a fan film. He broke down the entire movie into 15-second scenes and asked Star Wars fans to remake each scene… and boy, did they deliver with unbridled creativity!

The resulting film is the full-length Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as done by the fans; an effort that was featured in documentaries and news stories around the world. It even won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media in 2010!
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the Director’s Cut of Star Wars: Uncut.
Total time: 2 hours 5 minutes.
