Having recently rewatched the entire BBC Sherlock run, we were reminded of this fan film that pits BBC’s Sherlock with their contemporary run of Doctor Who – both of which shared showrunners Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.
In this short film, which is pulled together using an artful blend of footage from both shows, Sherlock has become obsessed with discovering more about the mysterious “Doctor,” months after an encounter with this impossible man; when suddenly, the Doctor makes an unexpected return…
It’s gratifying across several geekdoms at once!
