In a bid to help comic book retailers impacted by the current Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, DC Comics publisher and famed comic book artist Jim Lee organized a charity art auction. Contributing his own works and tapping on a few other talented artists, Jim Lee and friends completed art work that was auctioned off with proceeds going to the Book Industry Charitable (BINC) Foundation. The effort so far has raised over US$600,000 so far, with Lee saying they still have a third more of the 60 promised sketches to complete.
