This is the housekeeping droid you’ve been looking for!

Matthew Scott Hunter shared on YouTube how he built his R9-D9 housekeeping droid from a Roomba. Using a trash can, a few pieces of wood, “a lot of poster board,” the astromech droid is pulled around the house by the robotic vacuum cleaner, either autonomously or via remote control. Adding to the awesomeness, the head turns (via a repurposed oscillating desk fan) and it makes noises (via internal Bluetooth speakers).
