Written, directed and edited by Joe Lynch for Adi Shankar’s “Bootleg Universe” is a “mash up” between a classic Belgian black comedy crimemocumentary titled “Man Bites Dog” and Marvel Comics’ Eddie Brock, the human identity of anti-hero Venom.

The film follows a documentary crew from France who have come to America to capture the daily life of journalist Eddie Brock. Soon the truth about Eddie, as well as his questionable methods, begin to reveal more than intended. There’s a lot of fan service involved – how many did you catch?
