Since we celebrated Masters of the Universe Day earlier this week, we thought it appropriate to continue geeking out over He-Man with this week’s #FanFilmFriday entry – Fall of Grayskull!

Based on the popular 80s cartoon and toy franchise, the Masters of the Universe, Fall of Grayskull is truly a labor of love by Daniel Benedict, who also wrote and directed the short film! It was launched as a Kickstarter project and eventually premiered in 2016.

The short film is an impressive blend of fan storytelling and special effects as He-Man and Skeletor battle for control of Castle Grayskull. It also features favorite characters like Teela, the Sorceress, Shadow Weaver, Tri-Klops, Evil-Lyn and others!

You’ll also want to stick around for the after-credits teaser scene featuring a couple of familiar characters!
