#FanFilmFriday: Darth Maul – Apprentice

Last month, #FanFilmFriday featured a pair of Star Wars fan films that depicted the perspectives of a Stormtrooper and a Rebel soldier. For last week and this week, we’re featuring two more Star Wars fan films – one told from the perspective of a Jedi, and another told from the perspective of a Sith. Because, balance to the Force and all that. 🙂

This film features the infamous Darth Maul (originally played by Ray Park), who captured all our hearts when he first appeared in Star Was Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

According to the film makers, “We always felt that Darth Maul should have had more screen time. So we wanted to create a film just for him with the best lightsaber fights we could do!”

We agree, and we think the two years put into developing this film really shows!

Find out more about the making of this film here and here. Follow the film on Facebook here.

Total viewing time: 17:48 minutes.
